What gets removed
- GPS location data — the exact coordinates where a photo was taken, often embedded automatically by phones
- Camera and device info — make, model, lens, and settings used to shoot the photo
- Author and copyright fields — IPTC data some editing software adds automatically
- Timestamps — the original date and time the file was created or modified
- Software and AI-generation tags — including content-credential and generation metadata some AI image tools embed automatically
Color profile information is intentionally kept, so your image’s colors display correctly everywhere.
